Bulenox are another evaluator with a similar offering and website look & feel to LeeLoo and Apex Trader Funding. There are several trading evaluators that present offers, a web experience and contractual terms that are similar to what LeeLoo introduced at their launch.
Bulenox offer periodic aggressive discounts and have a price match/price beat policy. It is well worth contacting Bulenox to price-match other offers on like-for-like evaluations.
They offer both one-step intra-day trailing drawdown and end-of-day/daily loss limit/scaling evaluations. Bulenox also will automatically reset your evaluation for free if it is in a loss state (you’ve broken a rule, exceeded your maximum drawdown, etc.) at the time of your re-subscription.
The minimum trading time required on evaluations offered by Bulenox is five days.
Bulenox have “minimum trading day” requirements and “maximum withdrawal” limits during a funded trader’s first three payouts. After the first three payouts, withdrawal limits are removed and payouts are processed weekly.
Once funded, there is a one-time funded account activation fee that varies based upon account size. This is set at a similar level (on a “$50k” account) to two months’ fees from evaluators that charge monthly and operate a simulated funded account for funded traders. We rate fixed fees higher than ongoing monthly fees as your “running cost” once funded will be lower over time.
Bulenox base their evaluations on the Rithmic Paper Trading Server so any Rithmic-capable platform can be used.
Evaluation rules include loss limits and drawdown rules. There are no scaling plans, trading through news restrictions or consistency rules. Different rules apply across intraday trailing drawdown and end of day drawdown evaluations so it is worth checking explicit rules per evaluation and funded account on the Bulenox website. All positions must be closed by 3:59 PM CT.
The Bulenox website is quite light on support information however the basics are all there. If one understands the “generic” Apex / Bulenox / LeeLoo evaluation/funded account style, then the offer is quite easy to understand. Our dealings with Bulenox have generally been positive. Email responses have been helpful, accurate and reasonably timely.
